What is the pain behind the ear like a cramp?

Patients present with symptoms of cramp-like pain behind the ear, often occurring as a manifestation of paroxysmal neuralgia in the area behind the ear. Some patients have no specific causative or influencing factors for the appearance of this neuralgia symptom, while others may have recent excessive mental and emotional stress or anxiety, or lack of sleep, repeated fatigue, or staying up late, all of which may lead to the occurrence of paroxysmal painful sensation symptoms in the area behind the ear. Some patients may suffer from a viral infection of the nerve around the ear due to a decrease in immunity caused by various factors, which may further cause viral herpes to appear in the area behind the ear, which may also lead to a more severe paroxysmal painful sensation. Some patients may develop fever and facial paralysis.
