There is no such thing as a 100% cure for ringworm. At present, the main therapeutic drugs include topical and oral antifungal drugs. 1. Topical antifungal drugs: such drugs have a better effect on the treatment of ringworm. Commonly used drugs are clotrimazole ointment, ketoconazole cream and so on. The common side effects are dryness, irritation and allergy at the site of application. 2. Oral antifungal drugs: Itraconazole capsules, terbinafine tablets, etc. are better oral drugs for the treatment of ringworm, often used in combination with topical drugs. Common adverse reactions include bloating and poor appetite. Ringworm is mainly due to fungal infection of the skin, caused by skin lesions such as erythema, often accompanied by itching. It is recommended that patients with ringworm should actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, and it is not recommended to use drugs on their own to avoid delaying the condition or serious adverse reactions.
