How to treat ear boils

Ear boils are infectious inflammation of the external ear canal, also known as limited inflammation, caused by bacterial infection. In the early stage, it mainly shows congestion and edema of the external ear canal, and as the condition develops, inflammation gradually appears, and eventually a small, limited abscess is formed. Therefore, the first treatment is anti-infection treatment, such as the use of some cephalosporin antibiotics, and local antibiotic ear drops such as ofloxacin. However, if the abscess has already formed, then the abscess can be incised and drained, and some local astringent and anti-inflammatory medications, mainly ointments, can be used. When making an incision of the pus head, care should be taken to keep it parallel to the longitudinal axis of the external ear canal to avoid the formation of a scar.
