What is the cause of sudden transient blurred vision in young people?

Sudden blurred vision in young people may not be due to illness, but can be observed by resting. If the symptoms only appear when standing up suddenly and disappear quickly, they may be due to transient ischaemia caused by a change in position and usually do not require special treatment. If a young person has recently been on a diet or forgets to eat due to a busy schedule, blurred vision may also be the cause of hypoglycaemia. If sudden dizziness occurs frequently, it may also be due to ischaemic anaemia and it is advisable to go to hospital for routine blood tests and bone marrow tests to confirm the diagnosis.
