Is the parrot bite bleeding okay?

After a parrot bite bleeds, if treated in a timely manner, it is usually not a big problem and the patient does not need to worry too much. Unlike dogs and cats, parrots have clean mouths, and after a parrot bite bleeds, patients usually do not get infected with parasites or bacteria and do not experience physical symptoms, so there is no need to worry too much. In addition, because parrots do not carry rabies virus, they do not infect patients with rabies, and do not require rabies vaccination, and only need to pay attention to the correct treatment after being bitten. For smaller wounds, it is recommended to rinse with running water and then disinfect with alcohol or iodophor. If the bite wound is deeper, it can be seen in the general surgery department of the hospital and will usually not be a problem after proper treatment.
