Dizziness feels like it’s spinning

Dizziness that feels like it is spinning may be peripheral vertigo. Common disorders include Meniere’s syndrome, otoliths, anterior auditory neuronitis and labyrinthitis. Episodes of Meniere’s syndrome dizziness are associated with stress and exertion, and the symptoms are persistent and can last for about a week. It has a history of recurrent episodes and can present with deafness and tinnitus, and is treated mainly symptomatically with commonly used medications such as vertigo stop and pethidine. In otoliths, the symptoms are episodic and can last for a few seconds or 1-2 minutes. The symptoms appear suddenly mainly when the head position is turned. Deafness and tinnitus can also occur and can be treated by resetting, and symptomatic treatment can be given if the symptoms are severe. In the case of vestibular neuronitis and labyrinthitis, there may be a history of cold or diarrhea before the onset of the disease, and the patient’s symptoms last for about a week. Anti-viral treatment should be given along with symptomatic anti-dizziness treatment, and the patient can be cured clinically after the treatment.
