Can penicillin cure hemorrhoids

Penicillin cannot be used to treat hemorrhoids. Penicillin is a type of antimicrobial, an antibiotic derived from Penicillium, and a skin test must be done before each use to prevent allergies. Penicillin is indicated for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as abscesses, bacteremia, pneumonia and endocarditis, and has no effect on hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are not bacterial infections, hemorrhoids are common and multi-infections in the anal region, and having them requires appropriate treatment based on specific individual circumstances and symptoms. Asymptomatic hemorrhoids do not need to be treated, and symptomatic hemorrhoids do not need to be treated radically with non-surgical treatment. The most appropriate treatment is to determine the degree of hemorrhoids according to the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Non-surgical treatment methods include: first, pay attention to diet, avoid alcohol and spicy stimulating food, increase fibrous food, eat more vegetables and fruits, drink more water, keep the stool soft and smooth; second, local medication treatment, drugs including suppositories, creams and lotions; third, oral medication treatment. There are also surgical treatment methods, and the indications for surgery are ineffective conservative treatment, severe internal hemorrhoid prolapse, and larger fibrotic external hemorrhoids.
