Awareness of bladder tumors

For bladder tumors, which are one of the most common diseases in clinical practice, it is more important to have an understanding of the treatment guidelines along with the treatment management, which should be individualized for each patient. Before bladder tumor treatment, in addition to knowing the size, location and depth of the tumor, the biological behavior of the tumor should be clarified, which means that there is a prediction of the character of the tumor. Different treatment plans should be developed according to their characteristics. If there is a non-muscle infiltrating tumor and its biological behavior is highly malignant, then it should also be removed as early as possible to deny it the chance of metastasis. On the contrary, even if the tumor has infiltrated into the muscle layer, we can have an accurate judgment of its location, extent and metastasis, we can remove only the lesion without performing a total bladder resection. In retrospect, in the past, for high-grade stage T1 uroepithelial carcinoma of the bladder, for bladder-preserving treatment regression, almost all died from events related to bladder cancer, good for distant metastases bone, lung and liver common. With severe recalcitrant hematuria without sustained effective treatment, long-term survival is low, and it is critical to grasp the timing of treatment.
