Impaired Fallopian Tube Function and Reproductive Health Care for Adolescent Women

In infertility clinics, the vast majority of reasons for IVF are tubal adhesions, blockages, poor patency or fluid retention. The percentage can be around 70% or higher. Today, I would like to discuss with you the concept of tubal function. First of all, the fallopian tube is the place where the sperm and egg meet and are fertilized as well as the tube that carries the fertilized egg. It is connected to the uterus and is divided into four parts, the interstitial part, the isthmus, the abdominal part of the jugular and the umbilical end. The total length is about 8-14 mm, and the inner diameter of the lumen is only 1-2 mm at its thinnest point, which is equivalent to only a human hair as thin.
