Penicillin: can destroy fetal erythrocytes, cause severe jaundice, and cause fetal death. Streptomycin: Causes congenital deafness, malformation of bone development. Tetracycline: causes incomplete tooth enamel formation, skeletal and heart malformation, congenital cataract, short limbs or defects (such as lack of four fingers), hemolytic jaundice in newborns, and in the most serious cases, cerebral nucleus jaundice or even death. Oxytetracycline and doxycycline: cause short limb deformity in fetus. Chloramphenicol: causes circulatory disorders, respiratory insufficiency, cyanosis and abdominal distension (i.e. “gray baby syndrome”) in newborns. If used in large quantities at the end of pregnancy, it may cause neonatal thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia or fetal death. Karamycin: Causes deafness. Erythromycin: Causes congenital cataract, limb malformation, etc. Gentamicin: Causes fetal ear damage and even congenital gastric vascular malformation and polycystic kidney. Sulfonamides (mainly long-acting sulfonamides and antibacterial potentiators): cause hyperbilirubinemia, cerebral nucleus jaundice and malformation. Heroin: causes fetal respiratory depression and death. Dulcolax: Causes asphyxia in newborns. Morphine, Anon pain: inhibit the newborn’s breathing, make the newborn in a state of withdrawal-like inhibition, such as a week before delivery, can cause neonatal spasms, excitement and shrill cries. Aspirin: Causes small fetus and malformation, causes bleeding and liver detoxification dysfunction in newborns with reduced thrombospondin. Finasteride and paracetamol: cause neonatal methemoglobinemia. Feverfew: Causes jaundice and aplastic anemia. Barbiturates: cause congenital malformation of fetal heart, delayed facial and hand development, hare lip, cleft palate. Pepcid: can cause fetal malformation of fingers and toes, and can cause fetal asphyxia, hemorrhage and brain damage when taken in late pregnancy. Amphetamine: malformation. Valium, Anin, Librium and Concomitant: can cause fetal malformation and female fetal masculinization. Nandrolone phenylpropionate: Causes cleft palate. Insulin: causes miscarriage, premature birth, stillbirth and other congenital malformations. Progesterone: Causes masculinization of female fetus. Cortisone and prednisone: cause cleft lip and cleft palate in the fetus. Cortisone can also cause fetal anencephaly, premature birth, and early death. Progesterone and testosterone: cause malformation of the external genitalia of the fetus. Vitamin D: large amounts can cause fetal hypercalcemia and retarded intellectual development. Vitamin K: taken in large amounts, can cause hyperbilirubinemia and nuclear jaundice. Vitamin B6: taken in large amounts, can cause vitamin B6 dependence and convulsions in newborns. A derivative of vitamin B6, brain compound, has caused cleft lip in animal experiments and should also be used with caution. Multivitamins: If taken during the first trimester, the risk of infants suffering from common neurological deficiencies is as high as 60%. Promazine: Causes fetal limb deformities. Antimalarial drugs quinine, quinoline chloride, etanercept: can cause hydrocephalus, meningocele, cleft palate, renal arrest or malformation, retinal damage. Anti-allergic drugs such as paracetamol, mincozine, ankamycin, diphenhydramine, multiplying halo-nin: in addition to potential effects of cleft palate, cleft lip and missing limbs, they can also cause hepatotoxicity and brain damage, and inhibit respiration in newborns. Fluorouracil, cyclophosphamide: can cause deformities of fetal limbs, palate, external nose, urinary tract, and death. Aminopterin: causes fetal anencephaly, hydrocephalus, meningeal bulge, cleft lip, cleft palate or limb malformation. Hydroxyurea and leucovorin: Causes multiple malformations in fetus. Leucovorin: Causes central nervous system damage and anencephaly. 6-Mercaptopurine, testosterone propionate, L-mentholatase: cause fetal malformation. Azadirachtin benzoate: can cause renal and ureteral defects. Thiotepa, 5-fluorothiouracil, mitomycin C, colchicine: cause fetal death. It is safer to use these antineoplastic drugs if they are used after the 16th week of pregnancy. Bicoumarins: can cause fetal skin bleeding spots, brain disorders, placental abruption, bone and facial malformations, mental retardation or fetal death. Warfarin: Causes abnormal nasal bone development and malformation. Methanesulfonylurea (Methandiamide, Methanesulfonylurea, D860): Causes miscarriage, premature birth, and has a pro-teratogenic effect. Propylthiouracil, methiocarb, tapazol, methoprene, potassium iodide: cause hypothyroidism, cretinism, delayed ossification, hypospadias. Dihydrokethionine or cyclopentaclorothiazide: can cause neonatal thrombocytopenia. Risperdal: Causes neonatal toxicity, nasal congestion, respiratory obstruction, and even death due to hypoxia. Caffeine: Causes cleft lip and palate. Ether: Large amounts of continuous use can cause fetal death. All arsenic-containing drugs: all cause fetal death. Polymyxin E, B and vancomycin: prolonged administration causes acute renal failure in pregnant women and makes the child susceptible to neuromuscular blockage, dyskinesia, vertigo, convulsions and perioral sensory abnormalities for 3 years after birth. Vancomycin can also cause temporary or permanent deafness in infants. Rifampicin: Causes fetal malformations. The antifungal drugs amphotericin B, ashwagandha, myclobutanil, clotrimazole: have serious adverse effects on the nervous system, hematopoietic system, liver and kidney function of pregnant women. Ashwagandha also causes miscarriage and malformation. Aminopterin (triamcinolone acetonide): has liver damage and altered blood picture for pregnant women. Listeric acid: can cause temporary hearing loss, which can sometimes develop into permanent deafness. Other: newborns delivered by alcoholic pregnant women may show withdrawal-like inhibition; alcohol can cause multiple fetal malformations. The use of birth control pills should be completely stopped after six months before pregnancy, in order to avoid the birth of malformations or dementia caused by improper use of drugs. The above drugs should be banned or used with caution during pregnancy, and those who must use them should do so under the guidance of a doctor. It is important to use a single drug, small dose and short duration.
