Brief description of allergic cough

Pediatric allergic cough, also known as cough variant asthma, has complex causes, including genetic factors such as allergies and environmental factors such as pollen and dust mites. Since the cough usually comes on at night or early in the morning, parents tend to think that their children have a cold or flu and do not pay much attention to it, or they just give them antibiotics and cough suppressants, but the cough symptoms persist for more than 3 weeks. The main symptoms of allergic cough are: no fever; white foamy sputum; rubbing the eyes and nose and scratching the scalp; sweating during sleep, restlessness and curling up to sleep; and coughing mainly without wheezing. Their cough has three main characteristics: they cough for a while at night; they wake up in the middle of the night; they wake up in the morning and cough for a while. Some children can cough for up to three months in a row. It is very important to get rid of the causes of allergic cough. We can do the following: 1. When the seasons change and the temperature changes suddenly, pay attention to the cold and keep warm to avoid catching a cold or catching a cold; 2. 5. In bathrooms and basements, use dehumidifiers and air filters, and replace the filters regularly; 6. Bedding should be dried often.
