The fact that TCM doctors do not recommend vaccination is a rumor, a vicious rumor by well-intentioned people who obstruct the national anti-epidemic program. In the face of such outrageous rumors, the public should not listen to, believe or spread rumors. The fact is that vaccination, a way to prevent diseases by exposing the body to a small amount of pathogens and making it acquire immune antibodies, was first used from ancient China. The medical theory of ancient Chinese medicine was quite advanced, not just relying on Chinese medicine to cure diseases as popularly believed, but also sterilization, vaccination, isolation and many other medical tools that modern medicine has been using. As early as the Song Dynasty there were Chinese doctors using the technique of planting pox to prevent smallpox disease, by planting smallpox pox fluid into children, it can prevent smallpox disease, similar to the current smallpox vaccine. Therefore, TCM practitioners who do not recommend vaccination are denying TCM itself, and regular TCM practitioners would not state such an opinion. For some infectious diseases, vaccination in advance can effectively prevent and control the scope of infection, such as smallpox, chickenpox, hepatitis B and polio vaccines for young children, which can effectively prevent these diseases. There is also the current epidemic of neocrown pneumonia, because of widespread domestic vaccination, making the domestic infection rate much lower than the international level.
