The difference between neonatal acne and eczema

The difference between neonatal acne and eczema mainly lies in the different growth areas, symptoms and causes.
1. Growth site: Neonatal acne usually occurs on the child’s chin, forehead, face and other parts of the body, while eczema occurs in the limbs and trunk.
2. Symptoms: The symptoms of neonatal eczema and acne are similar, but they can be different. Eczema is mainly characterized by a small red rash, while acne is characterized by a red rash, with white nodules or tips appearing on top of the red rash.
3. Causes: Eczema in newborns is caused by environmental stimuli or external infections, while acne is caused by high levels of androgens in the mother’s body or hereditary reasons.
If a newborn baby has any of these symptoms, it is important to go to the hospital in a timely manner to determine the cause of the problem and to take treatment and care of it under the advice of the doctor.
