Overwashing your face causes sensitive skin?

Let’s first see if you have similar “facial problems”? 1, skin allergies easily, autumn and winter easily red chapped, facial skin often have red blood. 2, feel the facial skin is very thin, often red face, wash the face, apply skin care products, take medicine can not be improved. 3, face by water, wind, heat and other stimuli will be red and itchy, when using skin care products containing alcohol, etc., it is often felt stinging. 4, the skin is not easy to heal; easy to get red rash, wind. When there are these problems above, maybe your face has become sensitive skin! I often encounter such patients in the clinic: young and middle-aged women, dressed fashionably, elegant, and well mannered, but then exquisite makeup can not hide the red and thin skin on both cheeks. These patients often ask, “Why does my skin get red and red blood even though I pay so much attention to cleanliness, and why does it hurt and itch when I encounter wind and other stimuli? It is not difficult to find out that this sensitive skin is mostly caused by excessive washing. Is it also wrong to pay attention to cleansing? The answer is yes. When you over-clean, you not only remove the dust, aging keratin, microorganisms and so on, but also destroy the normal sebaceous film and stratum corneum, which not only fails to achieve the purpose of skin care, but also destroys the skin. In particular, people with oily skin are particularly interested in thorough cleansing. They want to wash away all the oil from their face, thus aspiring to improve the symptoms of clogged hair follicles and acne. Unbeknownst to them, this not only fails to achieve the desired goal, but only makes the skin more oily. If you over-clean the sebum on the surface of the skin with hot water or with sebum-removing cleansers, you will lose too much sebum and the pressure on the sebum film to inhibit sebum secretion will be reduced, but instead the sebum glands will secrete more oil at a faster rate and you will feel more oily. Therefore, excessive cleansing is likely to cause damage to the skin barrier function, increase the rate of skin water loss, dehydration, dryness and roughness, and weaken its protective effect, making it easy for harmful microorganisms, external chemical, physical and biological factors to invade or stimulate, especially susceptible to UV damage, feeling tingling when using products, etc. The skin is red because the blood vessels in the dermis are susceptible to expansion by various external stimuli. If unfortunately you lack vitamin C, collagen, insufficient vascular elasticity, or stimulation is too strong, the blood vessels may rupture, from which the red blood cells overflow and eventually die, and the hemoglobin within them becomes hemoglobin, which becomes part of the post-inflammatory pigmentation, and becomes the red blood on the face that often appears.
