Yunnan Baiyao can be used to treat bleeding caused by gastric mucosal erosion, as it can constrict the gastric mucosal vessels and therefore stop bleeding. In the case of erosive gastritis or chronic gastritis with erosion, patients who do not have symptoms of bleeding may not need to be treated with Yunnan Baiyao. The preferred treatment is acid suppressants combined with drugs that promote mucosal repair, such as oral omeprazole, combined with Rehabin. The purpose of Yunnan Baiyao is to constrict the mucosal vessels of the stomach and is used to stop bleeding or to prevent bleeding, depending on the patient’s electrogastroscopy report. In general, Yunnan Baiyao is not used directly for the treatment of gastric erosion, but for the treatment of bleeding caused by gastric erosion or for the prevention of gastric bleeding.
