Desensitization treatment is a long-term process and requires patience

Desensitization therapy is currently aimed at patients with allergic rhinitis, asthma, and some atopic dermatitis and urticaria. The treatment goes from low to high doses and then is maintained at these high doses, a process that typically takes 3 to 5 years. During this course of treatment, the onset of action is long and treatment with the aid of medication is required. There is a possibility of recurrence of the disease during the treatment process, which is a normal situation, and the treatment plan is adjusted under the guidance of the doctor. Generally speaking, the condition will see more obvious results in about a year, and the results will get better with each year as the treatment time goes on. Patients can communicate with their doctor when the condition is recurrent. When the doctor gives guidance to the treatment and with the patient’s persistence, the condition will trend toward remission. Please do not stop treatment at will, because after stopping treatment, until it is intolerable, then desensitization treatment, the effect may be affected. Desensitization treatment, it is important to persist, please persist with your doctor!
