Sweating, headache and dizziness

Most of the sweating, headache and dizziness are considered to be caused by hypoglycemia and are mostly seen in patients with diabetes mellitus. If a patient has diabetes and has an irregular diet during the application of hypoglycemic medication, hypoglycemia may occur and the patient’s blood sugar should be monitored. If the blood sugar is below 3.9 mmol/L, it is clinically known as hypoglycemia. In hypoglycemia, patients may suffer from cerebral ischemia and hypoxia, which may manifest as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, possibly palpitations, sweating, chest tightness, shortness of breath, etc. It should be corrected in time, and can be given orally with sugar saline, sugar cubes, chocolate, or if necessary, intravenous push of hypertonic glucose to quickly correct hypoglycemia. If the patient is severely hypoglycemic it may cause hypoglycemic encephalopathy and may even endanger the patient’s life. Common drugs that cause hypoglycemia include insulin, Reglanet and Glibenclamide, etc.
