What is the new treatment for tinnitus

The treatment of tinnitus has been a worldwide problem for reasons other than treatment, the pre-testing of tinnitus is also very difficult, because the sound of tinnitus can only be heard by the patient himself, but no one else can know it. To draw an analogy, it is like dreaming, only the dreamer knows the content of the dream, and only then will fear arise. And for the first time, TinniTestTM comprehensive tinnitus diagnostic and treatment instrument combines various tests into one, such as tinnitus tone matching, tinnitus loudness matching, suppression effectiveness test, minimum masking level and maskability test (Fuderman masking curve) and many other tests. This new clinical diagnostic and therapeutic instrument that integrates diagnosis, treatment, management and consultation of tinnitus has been put into operation in our hospital for the benefit of tinnitus patients. TinniTestTM, called Hearnit in Chinese, is a digital acoustic instrument that provides objective detection and effective treatment for tinnitus. It can objectively detect tinnitus, confirm the objective existence of tinnitus as a disease, quantify the clinical characteristics of tinnitus, help doctors determine the cause of tinnitus, identify whether there is a change in tinnitus, and thus verify whether a certain treatment for tinnitus is effective and provide evidence for clinical treatment and rehabilitation. As a treatment device, the TinniTestTM Tinnitus Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Instrument can generate a variety of acoustically processed masking signals that can be fed into relevant acoustic masking devices such as tinnitus maskers, tinnitus masking treatment CDs, hearing aids and hearing aid masks. The paper “Analysis of the clinical application efficacy of the HearnitTM Tinnitus Comprehensive Diagnostic and Treatment Instrument” presented at the 2008 International Tinnitus Conference in Sweden, pointed out that it can provide very useful information for tinnitus diagnosis, such as the residual experimental level of the patient, maskability, and the relationship between tinnitus and some common diseases. In the experiment “Comprehensive Evaluation and Rehabilitation Efficacy of Tinnitus”, the results obtained showed that after the first course of treatment, 2 patients (7%) were cured, 27 patients (90%) were effective, and 1 patient (3%) was ineffective. The treatment plan is individualized according to the cause, severity, hearing loss and other underlying diseases. Based on a comprehensive and objective assessment, it can provide more information for clinical treatment and rehabilitation, estimate the prognosis of patients, and better verify the efficacy of a particular tinnitus treatment.
