Expert: This is a normal lymph node reaction. Generally, the diameter of lymph nodes can be less than 1cm, painless, soft and movable. In case of local inflammation, it can increase to 2cm. If there is local redness and swelling with pain, it is inflammation of lymph nodes. The enlargement of normal lymph nodes does not require medication. The use of antibiotics does not reduce the size of the lymph nodes, and they usually become smaller and disappear after the function of the lymphatic system decreases after puberty. Abnormal lymph nodes tend to be hard and immobile, and a diameter of more than 2 cm is a distinctive feature.
