Restorative application of fibrous piles for anterior root and crown remnants

The traditional choice for restoration of root and crown remnants is metal cast core restoration, but with the improvement of living standards, people have higher requirements for aesthetic performance. This is especially true for anterior teeth, which are located in the anterior part of the dental arch. Due to the special nature of this position, it is easy for some accidental trauma to lead to crown fracture or root fracture, and its incidence is usually much higher than that of posterior teeth, which is an important reason why anterior crown and root fracture patients are more common in restorative dentistry. In my clinical work, I use fiber pile core and full crown technology to repair the residual root, residual crown, and achieve good clinical results. 1, good aesthetic effect, fiber pile resin pile core will not affect the transparency of all-ceramic crowns. And metal pile for all-ceramic crown restoration will be transparent metal color, affecting the aesthetic effect of the metal crown; 2. fiber pile has good mechanical properties, elastic modulus and dentin similar, in the case of large external forces, but also with the root canal wall to maintain extensive surface contact, can reduce the chance of root fracture; 3, biocompatible, non-cytotoxic and allergenic; 4, does not affect the magnetic resonance imaging; 5, and easy to If root lesions need to be treated, the casting pile is not easy to remove, but the fiber pile can be easily removed with a special drill, which is convenient for root canal retreatment and restoration; 6.
