Why is one eye red and the other normal?

This is because diseases that cause red eyes are those that develop in one eye and do not involve the other eye, such as keratitis, sclerositis or uveitis, or acute episodes of glaucoma, or bilaterally, where the two eyes can develop one after the other, such as conjunctivitis, which may occur in one eye early on and then involve the other eye as the disease progresses.
