Patients with advanced cancer sweating usually survive ≤ 3 months if they have systemic spread of metastasis. Because advanced cancer can lead to symptoms of cachexia, decline of systemic organ function, wasting malnutrition and easy sweating, sweating can be caused by electrolyte disorder, hypoglycemia, anemia, liver and kidney insufficiency. In advanced cancer with extensive metastasis, there is no special drug treatment, symptomatic treatment is given, pain relief as well as treatment to improve water-electrolyte balance, and nutrients, including amino acids and fatty milk, are given. If the patient is not suffering from gastrointestinal disease, he/she can be given nutrients by gastric tube. Some patients may affect other systems, such as spinal cord dysfunction, paralysis, and incontinence. In this case, care as well as symptomatic treatment is the main focus to improve the patient’s quality of life in the terminal period as much as possible.
