Duodenal cancer has an insidious onset and is often asymptomatic in the early stage. Patients often present to the clinic with non-specific digestive manifestations such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, jaundice, etc., which makes it clinically prone to miss diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
In clinical practice, the preferred method to diagnose duodenal cancer is hypotonic duodenography combined with duodenoscopy.
