What are the alternatives to Phenazepam?

Phenazepam can be replaced with risperidone.
Both Phenazepam and Risperidone are used to treat schizophrenia. Phenazepam belongs to the phenothiazine class of antipsychotics and is used to treat various types of schizophrenia. Risperidone tablets are indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic schizophrenia as well as a variety of other psychotic states that are markedly positive. Both are used to treat schizophrenia, so Risperidone can be used instead of Phenazepam.
Patients who are allergic to Phenazepam and Risperdal should be prohibited from using it, people with liver insufficiency should be prohibited from using it, and women during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be prohibited from using it. Long-term use of Phenazepam and Risperdal can cause tremor, bradykinesia and rapid heartbeat.
Patients must be under the guidance of the doctor’s advice for the use of medication, remember not to change the drug, in order to avoid adverse effects.
