Normal withdrawal bleeding occurs during the application of the pill, which is a normal condition. Usually for short-acting contraceptives, 1 cycle of the preparation is 21 to 28 days. With regular application, there will be vaginal bleeding 2-3 days after stopping the pill, which is called withdrawal bleeding. After 5 days of withdrawal bleeding, i.e. 7 days after the last stoppage of the pill, the pill should be applied regularly again orally. In case of vaginal bleeding due to a missed dose of the pill, depending on the amount of bleeding and the time of the menstrual cycle in which the missed dose occurred, it is important to consider whether to stop the current cycle completely or to continue adding more medication.
