What’s wrong with itchy and sore ears?

Itchy and painful ears are considered as the following disease possibilities: a. Solar dermatitis, which can occur in both ears, symmetrically distributed, with unclear rash boundaries, the rash is mainly based on papules, maculopapular rash, papular herpes and other rash manifestations, aggravated after sun exposure. Treatment requires oral administration of Zocetirizine Hydrochloride oral solution and Olopatadine Hydrochloride tablets, and topical application of Halometasone ointment and Denide ointment, together with black bean distillate oil applied twice/day for treatment. Herpes zoster, which usually occurs in the unilateral ear, can be accompanied by enlargement of the lymph nodes behind the ear, and the rash is distributed in clusters of small blisters, which can be as many as several places. The clinical treatment can be oral famciclovir tablets, topical acyclovir ointment, and the application of pidomod oral solution to improve the body’s immune system.
