Patients with mental disorders can be classified into 5 levels of risk. level 1 is when the patient is only verbally threatening and shouting, but there is no vandalism. level 2 is when the patient is vandalistic, but only against property and possessions, and in the home, and can be persuaded to stop. level 3 is when the patient is still clearly vandalistic, but only in the home and possessions, and cannot be persuaded to stop. level 4 is when the patient is persistently vandalistic, both in the home and in public, and cannot be persuaded to stop. Level 5 is when the patient is armed and has violent behaviors against people, including arson and explosions.
