How long do survivors of cerebral aneurysm hemorrhage live?

How long a brain aneurysm hemorrhage survivor can live is mainly related to the amount of bleeding, treatment and the patient’s own condition, which should be analyzed in specific problems and not be generalized. If a patient has a small bleeding brain aneurysm, early detection, timely treatment of the aneurysm, and no other complications such as hydrocephalus, cerebral vasospasm, or brain herniation, life is generally not affected. If the patient has a large bleeding brain aneurysm and survives through resuscitation, some patients may have a 2nd ruptured bleeding after 2 weeks, and the survival rate of patients is about 30%. If the bleeding brain aneurysm irritates the brain tissue leading to serious complications and the patient may have a 3rd bleeding at any time, the patient survival rate is almost zero. Therefore, survivors of cerebral aneurysm hemorrhage should be treated promptly at the neurosurgery department of a hospital, undergo surgery, and undergo regular postoperative review and close observation of changes in their condition.
