Can gastroscopy cause cardia relaxation?

Routine gastroscopy does not cause cardia relaxation. Under normal circumstances, the cardia can be tightly wrapped around the body of the scope. In cases of cardia flaccidity, the cardia is already significantly flaccid at the time of gastroscopy and cannot be wrapped around the body of the scope, even if the internal diameter of the cardia reaches two times the body of the scope or more.
