What is the cause of red eyes in the morning?

Most cases are due to inflammation of the conjunctiva, blepharitis, lacrimal sac, but can also be caused by visual fatigue, poor rest, etc. Morning sickness may be accompanied by an increase in eye stool, dryness, foreign body sensation, etc. This is mainly due to a lack of local eye hygiene, resulting in bacterial or viral infection of the conjunctiva or an allergic reaction to some external allergens, overuse of the eyes, staying up late, etc.
Infectious cases require antibiotic treatment, while others tend to resolve on their own. If there is persistent redness in the eyes, the cause needs to be identified and treated with topical medication.
