There is no clear clinical relationship between rectal cancer and hemorrhoids, therefore, chemotherapy for rectal cancer usually has no effect on hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids is a common anal and intestinal disease, patients may manifest as blood in stool, prolapsed hemorrhoids, anal itching, anal moisture and other symptoms, most of which do not require treatment, pay attention to a good lifestyle and dietary habits, there will be no uncomfortable symptoms onset. Usually there is no clear clinical relationship between rectal cancer and hemorrhoids, hemorrhoids are not the triggering cause of rectal cancer, and are not a high-risk factor for rectal cancer, therefore, chemotherapy for rectal cancer will not have an effect on hemorrhoids in general.
