Vocal cord nodules are a type of occupational disease associated with excessive use of the voice. It is now clinically found that many patients prefer conservative treatment or outpatient surgery under electronic nasolaryngoscopy when they visit the clinic. This is also misleading. Although vocal fold nodules seem to be a relatively simple disease, generally speaking, except for early vocal fold nodules that can be treated conservatively, after the formation of vocal fold nodules, the vocal fold nodules are often not significantly treated by medication alone. Minimally invasive treatment under a microscope is required to achieve better results. Because the first surgery is very critical, it is recommended that outpatient endoscopic surgery is generally not an option.
