How long can I receive free medication for AIDS?

Free medication for AIDS patients is provided for life. Currently, for AIDS patients, free antiretroviral treatment is administered in China. Anyone who is clearly diagnosed with AIDS can go to the local CDC to receive free medication. In addition to medication, CD4 cell and HIV tests are also free of charge, so AIDS patients need not worry too much, as long as they take their medication regularly and follow up with the CDC on a regular basis. At present, most AIDS patients are stable after regular treatment, and the number of HIV will gradually decrease or even become undetectable. This is what is known as clinical cure, but the medication cannot be discontinued and may lead to a relapse once the medication is stopped.
