How to read the HIV test paper

There are saliva test strips and urine test strips. Put a drop of urine or saliva on the test strip and observe the result after 15 minutes. If two red bars appear, it is positive, which means there is a possible HIV infection. If one red line is negative, it means there is no HIV infection. If the test is positive, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to get a preliminary screening for HIV antibodies. If the initial screening is positive, a confirmatory test should be done to confirm the AIDS diagnosis after the test is positive. The test paper test cannot be used as a basis for diagnosis. The advantage of the test paper test is that it is easy and simple to use, can be operated by yourself, and can protect the privacy of the patient. Once the HIV infection is confirmed, antiretroviral treatment is required as soon as possible.
