What is wrong with myopia that can’t be done with laser surgery

Contraindications to laser surgery for myopia include the following: First, active inflammation of the eye, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis or lacrimal sacculitis, is not acceptable for surgical treatment. Second, patients with systemic diseases, such as diabetes, systemic connective tissue diseases, and immune suppression, should be operated with caution. Thirdly, those with high expectations for surgery should be operated with caution. Fourthly, those who are younger than 18 years old and whose myopia is not yet stable should not undergo surgery. Fifth, when the myopia exceeds 1200 degrees or more, the surgery has a greater risk and is generally not recommended. Sixth, when the thickness of the cornea is less than 460 microns, surgical treatment is not recommended. Seventh, the pupil diameter is too large, surgical treatment is not recommended.
