How long does a MMR fever last?

Measles and mumps is a collective term for three different diseases, measles, rubella and mumps, which have different fever durations, as follows: 1. Measles: Fever can last 6 to 8 days throughout the course of the disease. Measles is a highly infectious disease caused by the measles virus. Symptoms in the prodromal stage can be seen as fever, cough and conjunctival congestion, which lasts for 3~4 days. After that, it enters the rash stage, which is characterized by red maculopapular rash all over the body. If there is no other complication, the fever starts to subside 3~4 days after the rash. 2. Rubella: Fever usually lasts 3~5 days. Rubella is caused by rubella virus. Symptoms in the prodromal stage may last for 1~2 days, during which there are low or moderate fever, cough, conjunctival congestion, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, etc. After that, it enters into the rash stage, which is characterized by generalized red maculopapular rash. After that, it enters the rash stage, which is characterized by a large pinpoint rash all over the body that lasts for 2~3 days, accompanied by fever, and then subsides on its own. 3. Mumps: Fever can last for 4~5 days. It is caused by mumps virus infection. After the onset of mumps, the parotid gland becomes enlarged and gradually spreads to the opposite side, accompanied by fever throughout the whole process, which gradually subsides after 4~5 days. The patient should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor, complete the relevant examination, clarify the condition, and give systematic and regular treatment.
