High uterine artery resistance has the potential to cause early fetal arrest. Uterine artery resistance is mainly monitored using ultrasound. If elevated uterine artery resistance occurs during pregnancy, it first manifests itself as high resistance to blood flow from the uterus to the placenta, which in turn leads to high resistance to blood flow from the placenta to the fetus, which then leads to fetal ischemia, hypoxia and even respiratory distress, which can have a significant impact on the growth and development of the fetus. If the condition develops further, it may cause fetal arrest. Therefore, after pregnancy, we should pay attention to rest, eat a reasonable diet and ensure nutrition during pregnancy. Regular obstetric examination, once diagnosed with increased resistance of uterine arteries, should actively find out the cause, under the guidance of doctors, symptomatic treatment and care, and actively monitor the growth and development of the fetus, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
