Lower extremity venous thrombosis is a clinical vascular lesion, through the implantation of the inferior vena cava filter, a filter device, can be able to trap the blood clots and other components of the venous vasculature, to prevent venous thrombosis back to cause pulmonary embolism and other serious complications. In the clinical process of thrombus filter surgery, firstly, the patient should take the lying position, the left groin area is sterilized, a sterile pad is laid, and the tube is placed through the femoral vein by puncture, and reaches the inferior vena cava along the femoral vein upwards. Subsequently, the venous filter is slowly advanced along the guidewire to the location of the bifurcation of the inferior vena cava. Finally, the guidewire is withdrawn and an angiogram is performed to confirm the proper placement of the filter and the procedure is completed. Thrombofilter surgery is a minimally invasive procedure, and the patient’s femoral vein puncture point is compressed for 24 hours after the procedure. After the procedure, patients need to be reviewed regularly to avoid recurrence of thrombosis.
