Women urinate when they sneeze, which is typical of stress urinary incontinence. It is recommended to do daily muscle group exercises for pelvic floor function or to do mid-urethral suspension surgery, which can solve the problem. This happens because of the sudden increase in intra-abdominal pressure and the involuntary flow of urine. The normal anatomical relationship between the bladder and urethra is changed so that when the intra-abdominal pressure suddenly increases, the pressure transmitted to the bladder and urethra is unequal and the bladder pressure increases without a corresponding increase in urethral resistance, thus producing the phenomenon of peeing pants. It is also associated with pelvic floor muscle laxity, such as in women who have given birth multiple times or after menopause, where the anterior vaginal wall and pelvic floor support tissues are weakened or absent, and surgery can effectively address this problem.
