There are two things to keep in mind when sneezing in public.
Firstly, you should wear a mask or cover your mouth and nose with toilet paper when sneezing, or if conditions are limited, or use the inside of your elbow to cover your mouth and nose to avoid spewing droplets from spreading in the surrounding air, especially if you have a contagious disease, you must take care to avoid infecting others. When coughing or sneezing, wash your hands immediately to avoid spreading germs from your hands to others through shaking hands, touching door handles, etc.
Secondly, if you feel like sneezing in public, don’t force yourself to hold back; holding back a sneeze may lead to a high velocity airflow impacting on the eardrum causing perforation of the eardrum with serious consequences.
