What do I need to know if I have pulmonary blister?

There are two main types of pulmonary blisters: one is secondary to primary lung disease, such as secondary to underlying lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. If the blister is small in size, the patient needs to actively treat the primary disease to avoid progression of the disease, and needs to avoid violent coughing and blister rupture, especially in larger blisters, which can easily form a spontaneous pneumothorax. Secondly, idiopathic pulmonary blisters are most often seen in young people, especially in young people with a long and lean body type. Patients mostly develop spontaneous pneumothorax and require a chest CT to clarify the condition of the pulmonary blisters and, if necessary, surgical removal.
