Cervical spondylosis itself does not cause vertigo at the back of the head, but is most likely caused by the patient’s lack of sleep or elevated blood pressure for a long period of time, so the patient can be allowed to increase sleep time or improve sleep quality. If the patient’s blood pressure is elevated, the patient can take oral antihypertensive medication to adjust it. If there is insufficient blood supply to the vertebral artery, the patient can use some medication to expand the blood vessels, so that the symptoms of vertigo will be relieved. In case of bony stenosis of the cervical spine, surgical treatment can be used to dilate the blood vessels. Dizziness may also be caused by cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage, which should be determined by timely review of CT. If there is a large amount of bleeding, minimally invasive or surgical treatment can be used.
