Bile flows out from the papillary opening but not from the nasobiliary duct; 2. Obstruction of the nasobiliary duct.  If the nasobiliary duct is obstructed and the papillary opening is not accessible, then there are symptoms related to bile duct obstruction, such as jaundice and cholangitis symptoms.
