“The Early Language Development Process Scale, divided into three sections.
Phonological and verbal expression (referred to as A), 26 entries.
Auditory perception and comprehension (abbreviated as B), 20 entries.
Visual-related comprehension and expression (abbreviated as C), 13 entries.
Each item was scored 1 point for passing and 0 points for failing. The scores for parts A, B and C were calculated separately and the total score was then checked against the percentile table of normative scores and compared with children in the same age group. Scores greater than the 75th percentile are considered “normal” and scores equal to or below the P10 are considered “abnormal”.”
