How is trichomoniasis treated?

  Trichomonas infection causes vaginal inflammation and has a lower incidence of about 3% than Candida vaginitis.  The incubation period is 4 to 28 days. The main symptoms are itchy vulva and vagina, increased vaginal discharge, foamy and often smelly.  2, Gynecological examination of the vagina and cervical mucosa is red and swollen, often with scattered red spots or strawberry-like protrusions.  3, . Microscopic examination of vaginal secretion smear can confirm the diagnosis, the sensitivity of microscopic examination of vaginal secretion smear is only 40%, but the specificity is up to 100%.  Treatment principles 1. Local treatment with metronidazole vaginal effervescent tablets, QN, a course of treatment for 7 days.  2, Systemic treatment is preferred to metronidazole 0 . 4g, Bid, for 7 days; or metronidazole 2g, single oral dose; the second choice of tinidazole 2g, stoned; tinidazole 0 . 5g , Bid, taken continuously for 7 days.  3, sexual partners treatment Metronidazole 0 .4g , Bid, continuous for 7 days; second choice of tinidazole 2g, stoned. Sexual intercourse or condom was prohibited during treatment. The cure rate for female patients is 82%-89% orally, and the cure rate is 95% for those treated by sexual partners at the same time.
