Fatty liver caused by phlegm and stasis can be treated with Tetrapod Decoction Pill together with Er Chen Tang, but other causes should not be taken. Tetrapod Decoction Pill is composed of Tetrapod Gum, Colla Corii Asini, Apis mellifica, Bombyx mori, Tetrapod, Dung Beetle, Nitrate, and Shiba Hu, etc. It can activate blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis. It has the effects of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis (promoting blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis in the body), and softening and dispersing lumps (softening and dispersing hard lumps). It is used in treating mange and lumps under coercion. The adverse effects of Tetrapod Decoction are not clear. It is contraindicated in pregnant women because of its efficacy in activating blood circulation and dispersing lumps. If the fatty liver is a case of liver depression and spleen deficiency, add or subtract with Free San; if it is a case of dampness and turbidity stopping, add or subtract with Stomach Ling Tang; if it is a case of dampness-heat accumulation (dampness and heat evils accumulate each other in the body), add or subtract with Sanyin Tang combined with YinChen WuLingShan; if it is a case of phlegm and stasis interconnecting, add or subtract with Hematopoietic Blood Stasis Dispersing Soup combined with ErChen Tang. It is recommended that patients seek medical treatment in time, under the guidance of the doctor, do not take medication on their own, so as not to delay the condition.
