Indications for extra-neural microsurgery for trigeminal neuralgia

  1.Patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia who can be diagnosed except for secondary factors through symptom identification and CT or MR thin-layer scan of posterior cranial recess; 2.Preoperative routine tests such as blood, urine and stool laboratory tests and ECG, ultrasound and chest X-ray, suggesting no serious organism dysfunction and able to tolerate anesthesia and surgery.  3. Although there is a history of chronic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease and diabetes, the condition is satisfactorily controlled after regular internal medicine treatment.
