Artificial cervical disc replacement

In recent years, the development and application of artificial discs for the cervical spine has been carried out at home and abroad with the aim of achieving cervical disc resection and decompression and fixation and fusion, while preventing degeneration of adjacent segments and maintaining the physiological range of motion of the cervical spine. The design concept of the Mobi-C® artificial cervical disc monolithic structure is fully adapted to the normal mobility of the cervical spine. With the intelligent adjustment of the limited sliding lining, the upper and lower endplates are automatically positioned during relative motion, effectively reducing the shear forces on the bone and implant contact surfaces and reducing the forces on the small posterior joints. The self-centered sliding liner design takes into account the transient center of rotation and the normal anterior convex anatomy of the cervical spine to meet the normal physiological activity of the cervical spine.
