Brief discussion on plasmacytoid mastitis (II)

The nature of the lump is sometimes difficult to distinguish from breast cancer, and sometimes pain is the only symptom to distinguish between the two. They are not able to make up their mind. If they want to have conservative treatment, they are worried that if it is cancer, it will delay the disease and affect the effect of treatment, so they are very torn. They ask the doctor to decide for them, but because of the current medical environment and doctor-patient relationship, the doctor’s speech is often ambiguous, which makes the patient more frantic. In fact, in this case, it is better to start with regular, standardized, conservative treatment for one to two weeks to see the effect of treatment. If the conservative treatment is effective and the lump is obviously smaller or even disappears, then it must be inflammation because it is impossible for the tumor to be reduced and disappeared in a short time by a non-anti-tumor method. If there is no obvious efficacy, surgical biopsy can be performed at this time. There is also no need to worry at all that this, two weeks time, the tumor will thus lose the chance of treatment, or will cause the tumor to spread and affect the effect of treatment.
