Plasmacytosis granulomatous mastitis is one of the two diseases with a high rate of misdiagnosis in mammography, but these two breast diseases are not uncommon and their incidence has increased in recent years. These two mastopathies are both non-lactating mastitis with aggressive onset, prolonged course and severe breast disfigurement. The lack of diagnosis and high misdiagnosis rate indicate that many doctors do not have a clear understanding of these diseases, and the treatment situation is not optimistic. Often, the more treatment is given, the worse it gets. In the end, doctors are helpless and patients are desperate. Therefore, some people call these two diseases “intractable mastitis”.
